Marcus Benjamin played 4 years of football and track at Westgate High School in Louisiana and graduated with his high school Diploma. he then went on to receive a scholarship to play at Arizona Western College for 2 years and graduated with his Associate's degree. He then received a football and academic scholarship to play at The University of Arizona, where he continued to play professionally for 3 years and received his masters degree in education
